Hello everyone! This piece took a lot longer to finish than I thought but it’s finally finished.
I do love the border!
Design by Blackbird Designs – All Joys for Thine. Stitched on Newcastle Linen 40 count lune argentée with the call for threads – Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works.
Hello everyone! Long time no see! I hope you are all well!
Last year I have been stitching and knitting… I do have some stitching from last year to show you but this post just shows you a recent finished ornament.
January Celebration in February and is almost March!
This design is from the book A Fine Collection by Blackbird Designs called January Celebration finished into a heart shape.
Stitched on Zweigart 32 Count Black Belfast Linen with DMC (94; 310; 739; 3866) and DMC Étoile (C310). I also did used Mill Hill (Antique Glass Beads – 03049) and Gütermann (Rocailles 9/0 773875) beads and a gold ribbon from my stash.
Wishing you a Happy New Year 2020 (never too late) !
Hello everyone! One more adorable stitched piece, just a simple little cushion.
This design is from the book A Fine Collection by Blackbird Designs called June Berries. Stitched on 40 count Milk Coffee Newcastle linen with Weeks Dye Works and The Gentle Art threads. The chenille around the cushion is “North Pole” by Dames of The Needle.
I decided to change one of the leaves to green and also the flower stem to green too. I did used for both The Gentle Art Dried Thyme thread. The beak of the bird is done in satin stitch with The Gentle Art Harvest Basket thread. The legs of the bird are stitched in back stitch, I used The Gentle Art Wood Smoke thread.
I really love so much that blue bird, I had such a great time stitching it!
Thank you for your visit! Have a lovely day! Happy stitching,
