Last Post of 2017

I hope you had a great Christmas!

My last pieces of the year.
The first one I did it for my mother. She really loved it!

It took me one week to plan my simple family tree sampler and other week for stitching!

Very simple, just my father, mother, me and my brother. I added the names, birthday dates and the wedding year of my parents.

The design is from Rosewood Manor – Branches of Life.
Stitched on 40 count Vanille Thieffry Linen with Au Ver À Soie – Soie D’alger number 1446.

Here is a close up of the frame:

The last piece is a design by Teresa, Primitive Acorns, she asked me if I want to stitch this one for her.

Design by Primitive Acorns – Be Free.
Stitched on 40 count Platinum with DMC floss.

Thank you so much for your support and friendship during the year!
I really appreciate your support, a big thank you for your kind words during the past year.

May all your dreams for the coming year be fulfilled! Happy New Year!

Happy Holidays

Hello!! Merry Holiday Season!!!

For the “Christmas Ornie SAL 2017” I decided to stitch the Sunday Mystery Sampler free design.
So for this month I stitch the block for day 12, called “Twelve Drummers Drumming”.

I stitch day 1 called “A Partridge in a Pear Tree, day 2 called Two Turtle Doves block, day 3 called Three French Hens and a little of day 6 called Six Geese a-Laying.

It’s a free design by Plum Street Samplers from 2015. Here is the link: “Sunday Mystery Sampler“.

I’m using Picture This Plus, 36 count Wren Edinburgh Linen with DMC 310, Weeks Dye Works and The Gentle Art threads.

And all my Christmas ornaments from this year:
