Christmas in July 2020

Hello!
Hope your day is going well.

Some Christmas stitching today.
One ornament I have stitched last year and other ornament I started July first. It’s too hot here so the finish took me so long…till yesterday… well, almost finished…

It is the 2018 Santa by The Prairie Schooler.
Stitched on 40 count Moka Newcastle linen with the recommended DMC threads.

Santa by The Prairie Schooler from the book 48, A Christmas Visit.
Stitched on 40 count Vintage Country Mocha linen with the recommended DMC threads. I added some red beads by Mill Hill.

I had this idea for some time, but it was more for Halloween ornaments. Inspired by a finish that I saw a long time ago on a French cross stitch blog, here is my finish:

The ornaments will hang on the board, but I didn’t really like the red pins, I’m thinking more about some cork pins and there’s also a ribbon on the wreath missing… I hope you liked them!

Thank you so much for visiting! Be safe! Happy stitching!

All Hallows Eve

Hello!

Since June, that I don’t have any update for the “Hallowe’en Ornie SAL 2017“.
I started a new project for the stitch-a-long, a Prairie Schooler design.

Let’s move for my monthly progress!
So for July theme (ghosts) I stitch four spooky ghosts:

Creepy Trees was the theme of August, my progress:

September theme was Spooky Words, I stitch the words “All Hallows Eve”:

The October theme is Pumpkins! And my pumpkin for this month:

Here is my finished piece:

Design by The Prairie Schooler – All Hallows Eve (Book 180).
Stitched on 40 count Oil Green linen by xjudesign.
With DMC floss (White and 921); Weeks Dye Works – Concord, and BarbaralCreations – Black Tulip.

I really had a great stitching time. I’m really happy how it turned out!

There are more pumpkins for this month! Also for the Halloween blog.
I stitched and fully finished the other design by Barbara Ana Designs, I just need to make some photos.

Thank you so much for your kind words on my last post!
Thanks for visiting!

Happy stitching,
