This is the work for The August 2011 Tape Measure Challenge from The Gift of Stitching magazine (issue 66).
From the proposed models, I chose two patterns (from the book “The Anotonie Ehrlich Crochet Book No. 3”).
Stitched on 32 count Lambswool linen (Permin of Copenhagen), with DMC floss number 3809.

The models are from NikysCreations, from the digital magazine The Gift of Stitching (number 64 – June and number 65 – July).
The first picture is the “Parrot Pincushion”. The second picture is the “Royal Visitor Pincushion”.
The last photo shows all the three pincushions – “White Peacock, Parrot and Royal Visitor”.
Stitched on linen 30 count Ivory from Tessitura Artistica Chierese with the recommended DMC fibers.

This pin pillow is from the digital magazine “The Gift of Stitching”, the latest issue (Issue 64 – June 2011).
It is called “Delicate Pin Pillow” by The Primitive Hare.
The issue also gives a great interview, I really enjoy read it and learn a little more about the brand.
Stitched on 32 count Belfast Linen – Light Mocha/Mushroom.
With the fibers – DMC White and Blue Berry by Gentle Art.

This model is a Nikyscreations design, from the digital magazine The Gift Of Stitching (Issue 63 – May 2011).
Nicoletta has designed three pincushions that reflect some elements found in the tapestries on Isola Bella, a island in Italy.
This first cushion have a beautiful peacock – “White Peacock Pincushion”.
Stitched on 30 count Ivory linen from Tessitura Artistica Chierese with the recommend DMC fibers.
I made the tassel with DMC Perlé Ecru.
