This is my March ornament for the “Christmas Ornie SAL 2016“.
Month theme is Santa and his helpers!

Design by Mani di Donna – I Believe in Christmas.
The design is in the Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher Magazine (Issue #3 Christmas 2015).
Stitched on 40 count Newcastle Linen, Light Mocha.
With DMC cotton floss.

I started this sampler in 2011.

Finally is completed.

From the magazine Sampler & Antique Needlework Quarterly: Fall 2o11.

1871 Margery Reynolds Sampler is reproduced by Simona B. of Mani di Donna Designs.

Stitched on 35 count Vintage Country Mocha linen.
With DMC and Weeks Dye Works threads.

This sampler have such beautiful motifs! I love the big birds!
