Hello, how are you? I hope you all are doing well. This post should have been done in the beginning of September, but I had a family urgency. My mother had surgery and I spent a few weeks with my father and then with both. She had a great recovery. I am very proud and blessed for our public health system is able to deal with the pandemic and other medical care very well…
And now some stitching… this piece is an old work in progress by Gigi R…
Finally finished:
Design by GiGi R Designs – Elizabeth Precious 1817. Stitched on 40 count Vintage Country Mocha with DMC and Gentle Art Threads.
Turned out very pretty and I am so happy that is finished!

Some Christmas stitching today. One ornament I have stitched last year and other ornament I started July first. It’s too hot here so the finish took me so long…till yesterday… well, almost finished…
It is the 2018 Santa by The Prairie Schooler. Stitched on 40 count Moka Newcastle linen with the recommended DMC threads.
Santa by The Prairie Schooler from the book 48, A Christmas Visit. Stitched on 40 count Vintage Country Mocha linen with the recommended DMC threads. I added some red beads by Mill Hill.
I had this idea for some time, but it was more for Halloween ornaments. Inspired by a finish that I saw a long time ago on a French cross stitch blog, here is my finish:
The ornaments will hang on the board, but I didn’t really like the red pins, I’m thinking more about some cork pins and there’s also a ribbon on the wreath missing… I hope you liked them!
Thank you so much for visiting! Be safe! Happy stitching!
Hello! In April I started some pieces that I was not liking because I couldn’t concentrate on them… Not really knowing what to stitch on during lockdown I decided to revisit all my cross stitch patterns. I did find four that called my attention. Two I already showed on my blog, the ABC freebie and the Blackbird Designs piece called All Joys for Thine, and this one is the other lucky one that I picked up. The other piece is an old work in progress by Gigi R….
A lovely selection of colours and some pretty motifs.
I love cherries! I enjoyed so much stitch them!
Design by MidSummer Night Designs – Forget Me Not. Stitched on 38 count Dalarna Zweigart linen that I coffee dyed. I did used the call for threads: DMC, Gentle Arts and Crescent Colours now called Classic Colorworks.
