June Berries

Hello everyone!
One more adorable stitched piece, just a simple little cushion.

This design is from the book A Fine Collection by Blackbird Designs called June Berries.
Stitched on 40 count Milk Coffee Newcastle linen with Weeks Dye Works and The Gentle Art threads. The chenille around the cushion is “North Pole” by Dames of The Needle.

I decided to change one of the leaves to green and also the flower stem to green too. I did used for both The Gentle Art Dried Thyme thread.
The beak of the bird is done in satin stitch with The Gentle Art Harvest Basket thread.
The legs of the bird are stitched in back stitch, I used The Gentle Art Wood Smoke thread.

I really love so much that blue bird, I had such a great time stitching it!

Thank you for your visit!
Have a lovely day!
Happy stitching,
