Hello everyone!
I was hoping to update my blog before Easter… life, Easter, vacations…lack of time…I’m here now!
I hope you all had a lovely Easter!
A few weeks ago I posted on Instagram my big bunny!

After that photo I realized that I stitched some “dots” of the bunny in the wrong colour… unpicked just a little bit…
I filled in, stitched others motifs and I stitched the eggs one-over-one.
Let me tell you that I had a hard time with the eggs.

Design by La-D-Da called B is for Bunny.
Stitched on Newcastle Linen 40 count Lune argentée with the recommended DMC threads.
It is not the first time that I stitched one-over-one on 40 count, but this time I had some trouble…the eggs are very close to each other and I decided to make a full cross…I had to unpick three times the two first eggs.
So after this frustration I decided to change my needle, I replaced my tapestry Bohin size 28 needle for the ball point bead embroidery John James size 10 needle (JJ10710B) and it worked very well! I hope this tip help out some of you!

Thank you so much for visiting! Have a lovely day!
Happy stitching,

My lovely husband tried to sort out my picture problem and succeeded.I was so fed up not being able see your photos..yay I can see your blog again Lili.
I absolutely love your bunny and beautiful flowers💖 the eggs are so tiny.Hope you had a good Easter too☺️
Hi Lesley!! So happy that you are able to read my blog again without any problem!! 🎉 Thank you so much for your lovely comment!! 🐰 I had a lovely time with my family! Big hugs!! 😘❤
Lili, your bunny is wonderful. I love him so much. I can see why those eggs would give you trouble stitching one over one on 40 ct. but they look perfect. I will remember the tip you gave about the needles. Thank you. Glad to see you back…I missed you. RJ
The bunny is gorgeous, to many stitches, but the result is beautiful!! 🐰Thank you so much, RJ!!💕 The needles they work very well too with 45/46 count linen or other higher linen count. Big hug!!! 😘
That Bunny is so pretty.
Congrats on another beautiful finish!
Marilyn
Thank you so much, Marilyn!! 💕💕 Have a lovely day!!! Big hug!! 🐇❤😘
Oh how lovely Lili! Wow! The hard work was worth it! 🙂
Yes!!! 😊 Thank you so much, Vickie!!! Have a great day!!! 🐰💕😘
I’m doing 1 over 2 on 36 count for the first time-not sure I like the fabric peeking out but it’s a kit and I don’t want to run out of floss. I’m beginning to get used to it. I haven’t tried the 40 count yet, next on my list. I’ve heard of the needles with a ball point. I ordered some of the ones you’re using but want to get a package each of the Stitchy Pop and the Easy Glide (if I remember their names correctly). Lovely piece.
Thank you so much, Sandra!💕 I love to stitch on 36 count doing 1 strand of floss over 2, the piece gets a primitive look. I also want to try the Stitch Pop needles, they are on my wishlist. Have a great day! Hugs!😘
That is just the cutest bunny, Lili! I love everything about your finish–and thank you for the tip on the needles, too! Hope you are enjoying May!
