SAL’s Update

Hello everyone!

I decided to stitch some ornaments for the Christmas Ornie SAL 2019 blog and also stitch something halloween for the Hallowe’en Ornie SAL 2019 blog.

For the Christmas blog I decided to stitch pieces for the theme three, ornaments from the Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornie Magazine!

My January ornament:

Design: The Prairie Schooler – Frosty Fun
(2009 Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornie Magazine)
Fabric/Threads: 40 count Moka Newcastle linen/DMC

The February ornament:

Design: Blackbird Designs – Winter Song
(2008 Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornie Magazine)
Fabric/Threads: 30 count Old Town hand dyed linen by R&R Reproductions/ The Gentle Art, Weeks Dye Works, Crescent Colours

For the Hallowe’en Ornie SAL 2019 I decided to stitch a medium piece by The Prairie Schooler and try to fit some of the blocks with the themes.

For January (Haunted House theme) and February (any spooky characters theme) my stitching:

A Haunted House
Design: The Prairie Schooler – Boo Moon
Fabric/Threads: 40 count October 31 hand dyed linen by Barbaral Creations/DMC
A Scarecrow
Design: The Prairie Schooler – Boo Moon
Fabric/Threads: 40 count October 31 hand dyed linen by Barbaral Creations/DMC

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy stitching,

Love that Boo Moon project. the fabric is awesome!
    Great job.

  3. You’ve been very busy, Lili! All four are so cute–great job on finishing your Christmas ornaments, too! Hope you have a wonderful week ♥

  4. What pretty ornaments! I almost picked the stocking one myself! 🙂 You have some nice stitching here!

  5. Lili, I love how you edged the snowman ornament and the blackbird stocking is precious. Fun Halloween stitches, you certainly have been productive!!

    1. Thank you, Mary!! The piping edge looks a bit wonky because of the fabric choice…but I am very happy with the finish! 😊 Hugs!! 💗

  6. I love all of your stitches Lili but I especially love the Christmas stitches. I really like how you did the piping around the PS piece and who doesn’t love snowmen. And the stocking is so pretty too. Is that a Blackbird Design? Great job as always. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever

    1. Yes, the stocking is by Blackbird Designs, you can find it on the 2008 JCS Magazine, the special Christmas issue. 😊 The snowmen looks quiet creepy 😊 Thank you so much for your kind comment! Hugs!💐❤
