Hello!
This piece took me so much time to stitch, I started well but at some point I got so bored. And I don’t know why, because this ornament is one of my favourites from the JCS magazine 2015.
Anyway, I was able to finish it and I’m really happy with my monthly ornament!
The month theme is “Sleighs/Reindeer” for the “Christmas Ornie SAL 2017”, my choice is this adorable “reindeer”.
Design by New York Dreamer – White Christmas.
The pattern is from the Just Cross Stitch Magazine Special Christmas Issue 2015.
Stitched on 40 count lune argentée linen with DMC floss.
Thanks for visiting! Enjoy your weekend!
Happy stitching,
Lili, I love your reindeer ornament. He is so sweet and perfectly stitched. How did you put the trim on…is it in the seams or stitched to the seam line by hand? It looks fantastic. I know the feeling of sometimes you just have to stop for awhile on stitches you actually love. But then when you get back to it…it is even more fun to stitch. RJ
He is lovely but maybe all the straight lines of one colour got a little boring to stitch? His antlers and parcels are my favourite part.
Yes, this ornament caught my eye right away in that issue. It is darling. Well done Lili.
It turned out very cute though.
Sometimes a color tends to get boring if you have to do a lot of rows. 🙂
cute design, perfect finish♥ love these colors!
This little reindeer is also one of my favorites in that issue of JCS. Beautifully stitched and finished, Lili.
Lili, I love this little stitch, I find when I do stitches that don’t have many color changes I get bored. This little guy is adorable and I love the trim finish. I’m going to have to order this magazine! Mary@stitchingfriendsforever2
I love this cute ornament… maybe you were bored because there are not a lot of colours….
I adore the colors are this ornament. The gray and cream are nontraditional but so perfect for a holiday piece. Beautiful!
Even though you didn’t love stitching this one, your reindeer is so adorable, Lili! I love the little trim around the edges that you added, too 🙂
Hope you are having a lovely day!
