We’re fine around here. With an 86% vaccination rate on my country things are not bad. Deaths and cases for covid-19 have dropped dramatically. Hopefully this autumn/winter will be much better…
I haven’t stitch anything these past few months. I have dedicated more of my free time to knitting.
So this last days I did the final tiny crosses on this piece and now is finished! Not sure if I will frame this piece! Any ideas?
Design by Jardin Privé called Quaker d’Halloween. Stitched on 40 count Moka Newcastle Linen by Zweigart with DMC threads.
Thank you so much for your visit!! Happy stitching!
I haven’t devoted much time to cross stitch this year for several reasons… But I managed to finish this new piece. I hope you enjoy it!
It is a free design by Marjorie Massey called Hiver. She offers also the version in English – Winter. Stitched on 40 count Milk Coffee Newcastle Zweigart linen with DMC floss number 924.
Since last year I wanted to make a project bag for my knitting and use some of my cross stitch pieces. So I decided to use this finish and made a small version of the drawstring bag. I have been collecting the materials and I finally made it! Far for being perfect I’m really happy with the bag.
This is the Kato project bag a drawstring bag sewing tutorial by Kandoupatterns. The pattern offers 3 sizes, I made the small one. Is a very easy sewing project for beginners. I made a mistake on the drawstring cords, I did cut the leather cord on the wrong place. I blame my husband… he told me a funny story, lots of laughs, I cut it in the wrong place, not a lot of laughs.. I just order a new cord and I will thread the drawsting cords through the channels very soon. It works well like this, but I prefer a large cord.
My new bag for a new pair of socks that I will cast on very soon.
The sewing pattern is wonderful, but if you prefer you can also watch Jess OklaRoots tutorial on youtube.
Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a wonderful day!!
