We’re fine around here. With an 86% vaccination rate on my country things are not bad. Deaths and cases for covid-19 have dropped dramatically. Hopefully this autumn/winter will be much better…
I haven’t stitch anything these past few months. I have dedicated more of my free time to knitting.
So this last days I did the final tiny crosses on this piece and now is finished! Not sure if I will frame this piece! Any ideas?
Design by Jardin Privé called Quaker d’Halloween. Stitched on 40 count Moka Newcastle Linen by Zweigart with DMC threads.
Thank you so much for your visit!! Happy stitching!
I have been knitting and here is some of my projects.
First is a hat for my husband. I did use a free pattern on Ravelry called Sockhead Slouch Hat, it is by Kelly McClure. The fingering yarn is a navy colour by Retrosaria Mondim in the colourway 105 (100% wool) and I knitted the hat using a 3mm circular needle.
My first sweater/pullover! The model is free also on Ravelry, the Flax Light by Tin Can Knits. It took me very time to knit, fingering yarn is lovely to work but on an sweater is so slow… The yarn that I used is from Lana Grossa, Meilenweit Rustico in the colourway number 3805 (80% wool – 20% nylon) with 3mm and 4mm circular needles.
Amalia shawl by Lucía Ruiz de Aguirre, it is a lovely shawlette. I used two yarns held together, Isager Silk Mohair in the colourway number 0 (75% Goat – Mohair, 25% Silk) and Malabrigo Yarn Mechita in the colourway Pearl (100% Wool – Merino).
One pair of green socks, the design is Elven Woods Socks by This Handmade Life. I used Mondim yarn in the colourway 306 (100% wool) using a 2,50 mm needle.
My first toe-up socks! They are the Calcetines Cuqui by Sheep Days. The fingering yarn is a lovely blue by Greta and the Fibers Socks Premium (75% wool – 25% nylon).
Knitting is fun and I love it very much, but don’t worry, next post it will be a piece of cross stitch!
Thank you so much for visiting! Have a lovely day,
