Good witch / Sleeping like the Dead

Hello!

Two pretty designs from Eszter by SubRosa Design.

The first one is a witch! I really love the alphabet around the witch!

Model by SubRosa Design – Good Witch.
Design from the magazine Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher Magazine 2017 Fall Issue.

Stitched on 40 count Caramel linen (hand dyed by me) with the recommended Weeks Dye Works threads.

The next one is a bit creepy, or maybe not! But I really like this one!

Model by SubRosa Design – Sleeping like the Dead.
Stitched on 40 count Flax linen with DMC and Nina’s Threads!

That tree is really pretty! And I made into a pinkeep drum:

Happy Halloween!

Lesley, had some issue with my blog a few weeks ago.
I always thought the problem was with her device, but after thinking about it a lot I came to the conclusion that it could be that the blog was not encrypted.
My sincere apologies, Lesley. Now the blog is more secure, the difference is only at https://, that little “s” makes my entire blog more secured.
I also removed the captcha plugin for comments! You just need to type the comment, add the name/email/ blog and post the comment!
Please if any of you have some problems, let me know!

Thank you so much for visiting!
Happy stitching,

  1. Lili, I also love how the alphabet goes around the witch. It is really a sweet stitch and you did such a great job finishing it. How hard was it to do the drum? I’ve wanted to make one…but it has scared me off. Yours is done beautifully. [email protected]

  2. What a nice Halloween/fall collection you have made for yourself this year! I can’t wait to see what the next holidays will bring!

  3. Lili, Estzer has so many great designs and what great finishing on the drum and love your dye color. Such wonderful inspiration!

  4. Oh my, I really LOVE your pinkeep drum! You are quite talented with in the finishing department. I love that Witch too, she is cute!

  5. The witch you stitched is adorable. I love friendly witches :) And yes, the alphabet around her looks great.
Great idea to finish the next design as a pinkeep drum.
