A quick post to show my latest cross stitch work.
A new model from Lizzie Kate, Snowman ’10. 🙂 I love the colours!
I stitched on 28ct linen from Permin of Copenhagen – Natural undyed.
Fibers from DMC, The Gentle Art, Weeks Dye Works and Crescent Colours.
Finished into a little pillow. One more ornament for Christmas.
Have a nice week!
Another ornament for Christmas. 🙂
The latest number of The Gift of Stitching is the annual Christmas issue (issue 58 – November 2010).
Has several projects and they are very beautiful.
My choice, the model of Nicoletta Farrauto – Niky’s Creations (one of my favourite designers).
For the “Deer Christmas Ornament” I used linen and DMC threads (the recommended colours).
Around the ornament, I used a Rickrack.
I bought at the online store by Nathalie Cichon – Jardin Privé.
From the collection of Nina – Rickrack Freezing Chocolat (hand dyed by Nina: fibers, laces, rickracks).
Thank you so much for visiting!
Christmas is coming!
A small Christmas ornament from the Magazine Just Cross Stitch 2009.
The model is by Mosey ‘n Me – Rejoice.
I used 32 ct Belfast linen – Light Mocha/Mushroom (Zweigart), DMC fibers and beads with pearl effect – the beads are from the time of my teenage years…)
It was not quite perfect, but it was the first time I did something with this form.
But I loved the final result.
Thank you for your comments and visits! Have a good week!
A quick post to show my last work.
The model is Coussin à Aiguilles by Danybrod.
She have gorgeous models, I recommend a visit to the blog and online store.
The fabric was a gift, I think it is 25ct Lugana evenweave in white (but I am not sure) and I used the recommended fibers (DMC).
Replacing my initials with a letter L charm (Charm by La Croix & La manière).
A small lace, fabric and two buttons were my choices in my favourite local shop.
Thanks for the visits and comments!
